Istituto Giordano has been recognized by NAMI, the American Certification Body, for environmental tests, burglar resistance and mechanical resistance, according to the main American standards ASTM and AAMA, on doors and windows and curtain walls. NAMIcertification/recognizedlaboratories

On the America side, Istituto Giordano has also signed a new partnership with Buildings Drops Inc, founded by Hermes Norero, a leader in the field of windows and curtain walls, for which it will test systems and products in Europe for the US market. Read the article

Who is NAMI?
Certification, Inspection and Quality Assurance Services provided to the Building Industry in accordance with International Guidelines as set forth in ISO/IEC 17065 & 17020. They specialize in Fenestration and Building Envelope Products which includes, but not limited to, Windows, Patio Doors, Skylights, Entrance Doors, Sidelights, Transoms, Glazing Wall Systems, Site-Built, Insulating Glass Products, Soffit, Fascia and Building Components.

Through NAMI certification, the manufacturer or supplier can demonstrate to the US market its ability to obtain and maintain the conformity of the products produced or the services provided. For this reason, the conformity mark is used, which is affixed to the product packaging or other media.

The certification and inspection process provides the purchaser with the quality assurance that the product they are purchasing is the same product that has been tested by an independent laboratory and will reach the level indicated by the test report.
